Location
Parking at the Hotel
Hotel Harmony is located in the heart of Ghent, within a car-free zone. You can only drive up to the hotel by car if you have reserved a parking space in our private car park in advance. A temporary permit is not possible if you park elsewhere.
Access to the car-free zone
The only access road to Hotel Harmony is via the Geldmunt. Follow these steps carefully:
- Set your GPS to: De Lange Steenstraat, Ghent
- Drive to the end of this street until you reach the Geldmunt.
- You will see a sign “No entry, except for permit holders”. → You may ignore this sign if you have reserved a parking space with us.
- Follow the tram tracks in the Geldmunt.
- When you see the Gravensteen (castle) on your right, turn left into the Kraanlei.
- After a few metres you will see Hotel Harmony on your left.
Check-in & parking
- Report to reception upon arrival.
- Our colleagues will guide you to the entrance of our private car park.
- Our city car park is compact. We kindly ask you to leave your car key at reception, so that we can move your car if necessary.
- There are 5 charging points for electric cars available (use subject to availability).
Arriving by public transport
Hotel Harmony is within walking distance of Gent-Dampoort station and is also easily reached from Gent-Sint-Pieters station.
From Gent-Dampoort
Take bus 10, 11 or 12 towards the city centre and get off at the Gent Sint-Jacobs stop. From there it is approximately 5 minutes' walk to the hotel.
On foot, you can reach Hotel Harmony in approximately 20 minutes.
From Gent-Sint-Pieters
Take tram 1 towards Evergem and get off at the Korenmarkt stop. From there it is approximately 8 minutes' walk to the hotel.
The total journey time is approximately 20 minutes.

Tip
Ghent is a compact city. Those travelling light can also walk easily from either station and enjoy the historic city centre along the way.
Low Emission Zone (LEZ)
Ghent has a Low Emission Zone. Check in advance whether your car has access via the official website.
Foreign vehicles must register. If your car does not comply, you can purchase a day pass. Hotel Harmony cannot assist you with this, as you need your vehicle's ownership documents. In case of non-registration, you may receive a fine of €150 per camera.
