Parking at the Hotel

Hotel Harmony is located in the heart of Ghent, within a car-free zone. You can only drive to the hotel by car if you have reserved a parking space in our private parking. Temporary permits are not available if you park elsewhere.

 

Access to the car-free zone

The only permitted route to reach the hotel is via Geldmunt. Please follow the steps below carefully:

  1. Set your GPS to: De Lange Steenstraat, Ghent
  2. Drive all the way down this street until you reach Geldmunt.
  3. You will see a sign “No entry, except permit holders”.
    → You may ignore this sign if you have a parking reservation with us.
  4. Follow the tram tracks through Geldmunt.
  5. When you see the Gravensteen Castle on your right, turn left into Kraanlei.
  6. After a few meters, you will see Hotel Harmony on your left-hand side.

Check-in & parking

  • Upon arrival, please check in at the reception desk. Our staff will guide you to the entrance of our private parking.
  • Our city-centre parking is compact. We kindly ask you to leave your car key at reception, so we can move your car if needed to ensure comfort for all guests.
  • We offer 5 charging stations for electric vehicles (subject to availability).

 

No parking reservation?

If you do not have a parking reservation or if our parking is full, we recommend using one of the following nearby public car parks:

  • Vrijdagmarkt Parking (€27.50 / 24h)
  • Tolhuislaan Parking (€9.50 / 24h)

Low Emission Zone (LEZ)

The city of Ghent operates a Low Emission Zone. Please check in advance if your vehicle is allowed via the official website.

  • Foreign vehicles must register in advance.
  • If your vehicle does not comply, you can purchase a day pass.
  • Hotel Harmony cannot assist with the registration process, as ownership documents are required.
  • Failing to register may result in a €150 fine per camera passed.

Restricted zones in Ghent (camera surveillance & potential fines):

Avoid the following streets:

  1. Ottogracht (Van Beverhoutplein)
  2. Burgstraat
  3. Brabantdam – Kuiperskaai
  4. Dok Noord – Stapelplein
